Robbery at Bank of America under investigation, police say

ROCK HILL, S.C. — The Rock Hill Police Department is investigating a robbery outside of a Bank of America Thursday evening.

It happened just before 4:45 p.m. on Heckle Boulevard.

The victim told police that she was leaving the bank, after making a withdrawal, when a male walked up to her.

She said he assaulted her before taking her money. He then left the scene in a white Dodge Charger, according to police.

According to the victim, the male was wearing a black mask, a grey top, and black pants.

The vehicle connected to this incident had a hood scoop, black spoiler, black rims, and a license plate cover.

It was last seen traveling north on Interstate 77, according to police.
