CHARLOTTE — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating two overnight robberies at convenience stores.
The first happened just after midnight Thursday in south Charlotte at the Circle K on South Boulevard near Sharon Lakes Road. A customer and two employees were in the store at the time. No one was hurt.
Forty minutes later in University City, police say a man with a gun robbed a 7-11 on University City Boulevard near Old Concord Road. No one was hurt.
Detectives are working to learn if the robberies are connected.
