CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. — A robber threatened to shoot a Dollar General clerk Monday in Chester County, authorities said.
The man gave the clerk a note at the Richburg store. It said he’d shoot her if she didn’t give him all of the money and cigarettes.
She asked him if he really wanted to do that, and he told her, “Yes.”
He did not show a gun but kept one hand inside his hoodie.
No arrests were made after he took the money and fled.
