CHARLOTTE, N.C. — These restaurants aren’t letting the Covid-19 pandemic get in the way of their opening plans this fall.
Tex-Mex brand Superica is back on track for a November opening in south Charlotte after the pandemic caused previous construction delays. And Charlotte restaurateur Rob Duckworth is planning to open his Link & Pin concept in Huntersville by late October, with another location slated to follow later in south Charlotte.
They’ll join other eateries that opened last month, including celebrity and award-winning chef David Burke’s Red Salt by David Burke in uptown’s Le Méridien Charlotte and The Good Wurst Co., which is dishing up its take on the classic New York-style deli in Plaza Midwood.

A new brewery in North End — Petty Thieves Brewing Co. — also opened its doors in September, as did Charlotte’s first craft seltzery, called Summit Seltzer.
That doesn’t mean, however, that Charlotte didn’t lose any establishments in September.
