HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — A local woman who has lived in her neighborhood for more than 50 years says she has been having flooding issues ever since a nearby construction project started off Huntersville-Concord Road.
Other neighbors in the community also shared videos with Channel 9, showing water rushing across the street into their driveway after a rainy day, bringing debris, trash, and pieces of wood with nails with it.
