LINVILLE, N.C. — Two people were rescued Thursday afternoon after a fall at Linville Falls.
Chopper 9 flew over the scene where rescuers could be seen using ropes to rescue two people.

Burke County EMS officials told Channel 9 that a person survived the fall and they were trying to get them and another person to safety.
Rescuers were able to get two people across the river.
