MOORESVILLE, N.C. — An investigation was underway into a bomb threat at the Walmart on Norman Station Blvd. in Mooresville, just off Interstate 77.
Mooresville Fire and Police are currently on scene at the Mooresville Wal-Mart at 169 Norman Station Blvd. for a bomb/suspicious package. Surrounding businesses are being evacuated. Please stay away from the area.

Officials said the Walmart in Iredell County, as well as the surrounding businesses, were evacuated Thursday afternoon.
Authorities checked the store and found no threat.
The store will reopen, officials said at about 4 p.m.
