CHARLOTTE, N.C. — We all know that Charlotte drivers are not always the safest and a national report now backs it up.
Insurance company Allstate compiled driving data from 200 of the largest cities across the country and Charlotte landed toward the bottom of the list.
Charlotte was ranked at 150 out of the 200 safest driving cities.
According to Allstate, Charlotte ranked 142 in 2015, so Queen City drivers got even worse in the last year.
Charlotte comes in at No. 148 in rain and snow.
Raleigh came in at No. 86, while Greensboro was ranked 98th.
In South Carolina, Columbia landed at No. 169 safest driving city while Charleston did much better at No. 135.

Boston landed at the very bottom of the list followed by Worcester, Mass.; Baltimore, Maryland and Washington D.C.
So what is the safest city to drive? Brownsville, Texas. took first place, followed by Kansas City and Madison, Wisconsin.
