CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Reid’s Fine Foods expects to open its new uptown location at the end of July.
The specialty grocer has snagged a 2,100-square-foot space on the first floor of 121 West Trade. That 32-story office building is at the corner of Trade and Tryon streets.
“We have seen tremendous growth in Charlotte over the years and we are looking forward to mirroring that development by opening our third location,” says Tom Coker, managing partner.
Reid’s history in Charlotte dates to 1928 when it opened as a gourmet market. That brand left uptown Charlotte in 2010.
The new uptown store will offer lunch options for those looking to dine in as well as to-go options, and it will serve breakfast. Shoppers will also find a wine shop and gift baskets.
