CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Quail Hollow Middle School was evacuated on Thursday after a lava lamp exploded in a science class lab.
CMS officials said the building was evacuated as a precaution and no one was injured.
The incident happened around 3:45 p.m.
Firefighters were called to the school to assist in the evacuation.
