Quail Hollow home hits market with top price in Charlotte at $8.49M

CHARLOTTE — Charlotte’s most expensive home listing is no longer local businessman Michael Kahn’s Providence Plantation mansion. It’s been replaced by a home overlooking Quail Hollow golf course that hit the market earlier this week — just in time for the annual Wells Fargo Championship.

Listed at $8.49 million, the 7,901-square-foot home at 7214 Baltusrol Lane sits in Charlotte’s Quail Hollow neighborhood and provides views of the course’s 15th hole. It underwent a “to the studs” renovation over the course of 18 months that wrapped up in fall 2021, according to the property’s listing details.

The home was listed May 3 by Vicky Mitchener and Ducie Stark, brokers with Dickens Mitchener Real Estate.

And the firm intends to take advantage of foot traffic during the Wells Fargo Championship, hosted by Quail Hollow Club from May 4-7.

A Dickens Mitchener spokeswoman told CBJ that the agency placed a sign with only a QR code in the home’s backyard, by the golf course’s foot path, to capture the attention of spectators at the tournament. She said showings for the home start May 8.
