Fans get first look at QB Bryce Young in BofA stadium at Panthers Fan Fest

CHARLOTTE — Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young took the field Wednesday night at Bank of America Stadium for the first time in front of a crowd at Panthers Fan Fest.

Panthers’ leadership said they couldn’t be more pleased with his progress.

They are throwing a lot at the rookie who was drafted first overall.

Bryce has made his share of mistakes.

However, the nice thing about Young is whether he’s throwing an interception or threading a 30-yard laser downfield, it won’t affect him on the next play.

“Either you can let those emotions keep going and whatever negative, positive, just let it feel, and not learn whether it’s good or bad. What’s left is watch the film, have a conversation with coaches or teammates, and then find ways to grow and learn,” Bryce said.

The Panthers will host the New York Jets on Aug. 12.
