MATTHEWS, N.C. — A new Publix opened in Matthews Wednesday morning.
The store is on Fincher Farm Road and it's the second one to open in North Carolina.
The doors opened at 7 a.m. Wednesday.
Charlotte's first Publix opened in Ballantyne in February.
