CHARLOTTE — PSA Airlines, a regional airline and subsidiary of American Airlines Group, announced today that it will relocate its corporate headquarters from Dayton, Ohio, to Charlotte, North Carolina, by January 2026.
The new headquarters will be situated at 2709 Water Ridge Parkway in the Water Ridge Office Park, strategically located near American’s Charlotte Flight Training Center and Charlotte Douglas International Airport. This move will bring approximately 400 PSA team members to the new location, reflecting the airline’s operational focus on Charlotte, where it conducts a significant portion of its daily departures.
“We chose to relocate PSA’s headquarters to Charlotte for several important reasons, including that Charlotte is where most of our daily departures occur and almost all our training is based,” said Dion Flannery, President and CEO of PSA.
PSA Airlines operates over 750 daily departures, including more than 180 from Charlotte, serving American’s regional network across four major hubs. The relocation will involve inviting all 350 Dayton-based employees to move to Charlotte, with a decision deadline set for the end of April. PSA has also started posting new roles in Charlotte, anticipating increased hiring needs depending on how many current employees choose to relocate.
The relocation of PSA Airlines’ headquarters to Charlotte underscores the strategic importance of the city within American Airlines’ network. As the transition progresses, PSA aims to integrate into the Charlotte community while maintaining a presence in Dayton with a maintenance hangar and crew base.
