President Biden, First Lady to visit North Carolina

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden will be traveling to Rocky Mount, North Carolina and Fort Liberty, North Carolina on Friday.

In Rocky Mount, North Carolina they are expected to discuss how career-connected learning and workforce training programs are preparing students for good-paying jobs in North Carolina, as well as nationwide, that are being created as a result of the President’s Investing in America Agenda.

At Fort Liberty, North Carolina, they will meet with service members and their families and deliver remarks at an event in support of Joining Forces. This is in conjunction with the first lady’s initiative to support military and veteran families, caregivers, and survivors.

The Biden’s will arrive and depart from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, North Carolina.
