CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Part of the outer loop on Interstate 485 in north Charlotte remains closed after a truck carrying raw chicken spilled some of its load onto the roadway.
The spill happened around 9 a.m. Wednesday on the highway near Old Statesville Road.
Officials say the lanes will not reopen until 1 p.m. Wednesday.
It is not clear what led to the chicken spill.
