CHARLOTTE, N.C. — White Duck Taco, a popular taco concept based in Asheville, opened its doors in Charlotte’s Belmont neighborhood over the weekend.

White Duck announced on social media it had opened Saturday at 1020 E. 10th St., just outside of uptown. It’s located at the corner of East 10th Street and Seigle Avenue.
The restaurant, in the midst of its soft opening, is awaiting its alcohol license and expects to hold a grand-opening event in mid-January, said Jason Haas, co-owner of the local franchise.
