CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Organizers are cooking up thousands of pounds of meat Thursday morning for the annual Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church barbecue.
This will mark the 90th year of the event, where the community gets to meet candidates on the ballot.

The barbecue is one week from Thursday, but it takes all that time and effort to prepare for the huge crowd.
