CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are searching for the suspects who they said shot and carjacked a man overnight in south Charlotte.
The carjacking happened around 12:30 a.m. on Lakemist Drive, just off Old Pineville Road.
Channel 9 was there as police gathered evidence, and officers told Eyewitness News that the suspects shot the man in a parking lot before stealing his pickup truck.
The victim was shot in the shoulder and is expected to be OK.
Police are looking for a white 4-door Ford F-250, as well as the two suspects. No description of the pair has been released.
