Officers were called Monday to Interstate 77, where the victim told police that the bullet had passed behind the driver’s seat of her vehicle and went into the passenger side.
The victim told police that around 11 a.m., she was taking the Highway 160 exit off Interstate 77 southbound when she saw a black Nissan Altima speed up behind her. The victim said she slowed down and tapped her brakes to warn the driver there was stopped traffic ahead.
She then told police that the suspect, Bolden, pulled up next to her, and words were exchanged. The victim rolled up her window, and that was when the Bolden allegedly fired into her van, a company vehicle. The bullet went behind the driver and into the passenger’s side.
The victim was the only person in her van, police said.
After firing the shot, the suspect continued driving down Highway 160.
The victim took a cellphone video of the altercation but police have not released the footage because it is part of the investigation. They did release still images of Bolden and her car, though.
The temporary tag on the suspect’s vehicle appeared to not be a legitimate tag, according to detectives.
Bolden is at the York County Detention Center under a $60,000.00 bond.
The victim spoke with Channel 9 on the phone, saying she was too frightened to speak on camera but did say, “I would never wish somebody to be arrested but I do think she needs to be held accountable because this could have ended really bad for me and I didn’t do anything to deserve that.”
