CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police said they are searching for a man accused of shooting and injuring a woman at a University of North Carolina at Charlotte student housing complex.
The shooting happened on University City Boulevard around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, across from the university.
Officials said the bullet grazed a woman's arm and a dog was also shot.
Police said the shooting may have started after an argument at a party earlier that night in a different area.
Resident Sasha Lee said there are a lot of strangers who walk around the building.
"There is always like random people walking in and out of this complex. I'm not sure what is going on half the time," Lee said.
