CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A fast-food restaurant employee was injured during an armed robbery Sunday night in the Steele Creek neighborhood of Charlotte, police said.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police told Channel 9 that a man carrying a gun robbed the business, hitting a female employee with the weapon. Authorities said it happened at the Jack in the Box on South Tryon Street.
The female employee suffered minor injuries.
Police have not made an arrest in the case and did not provide any specifics on a description of the suspect.
