YORK, S.C. — Deputies are looking for whoever shot and killed a retired racehorse on Sunday morning in York County.
The horse, named ‘Deuces Take Em,’ was shot at a boarding farm off Sierra Road in York between 7:45 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Sunday, officials said.

Investigators said the horse was believed to be worth as much as $10,000.
Deputies do not yet have information on a suspect or motive, but they are continuing to investigate.
