SHELBY, N.C. — Police are searching for a gunman after they said a man was shot to death in Shelby Sunday night.
Officers told Channel 9 that Jimmy Robbs Jr. was shot around 8:30 p.m. on Suttle Street. He was driven to the emergency room, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators have since issued a first-degree murder arrest warrant for Davaughia Snipes and are actively looking for him.
They have not said what evidence led them to take out that warrant or what relationship Snipes had with Robbs.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about the shooting or Snipes' location to call the Shelby Police Department.
