CHARLOTTE — Police arrested one person and cited several others for an illegal fish arcade in west Charlotte, they said.

Channel 9 spotted the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department outside of the arcade around 7 a.m. Tuesday on Freedom Drive near Enderly Road. A SWAT truck was at the scene with multiple CMPD officers.
By Tuesday evening, CMPD confirmed they were investigating an illegal fish arcade at the location. Officers said they had a search warrant for the business and were able to seize multiple guns, a large amount of money, and illegal gaming equipment.
CMPD arrested someone on an outstanding warrant. They cited several others for providing armed security without the required licensing.
Police said the investigation is ongoing. The department’s ABC Unit will keep monitoring the business.
