CHARLOTTE — One person is in the hospital after being hurt in an overnight car crash in north Charlotte, according to MEDIC.
MEDIC says the crash happened after midnight on I-85 and West Mallard Creek Church Road.

A Channel 9 crew shot video of the crash and the massive police response of almost a dozen officers, including K-9.
MEDIC said they transported one person with serious injuries.
Channel 9 has reached out to CMPD for information about the cause of the crash.
