LANCASTER, S.C. — Police said two girls were found safe after Lancaster police asked for the public’s help finding them.
According to investigators 10-year-old Anaja Meredith and 2-year-old Zoya Meredith had been missing since about 7 p.m. Saturday.
Police said the girls vanished after being seen with their biological mother, Cherrica Nichole “Nikki” Meredith who is prohibited by the Department of Social Services from contacting them.
On Monday evening, police said the girls were found safe.
