CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police have arrested a 20-year-old and a juvenile in connection with a 2020 murder where a man was found shot to death in northwest Charlotte.
It happened on Dec. 23, 2020, just before 11 p.m. near Fairbrook Drive, which is off Beatties Ford Road.
Detectives are conducting a homicide investigation near the 3100 block of Fairbrook Drive where one person has been pronounced deceased. Anyone with information is asked to leave it anonymously with @CLTCrimeStopper.

Officers were called to the area after getting reports of a shooting. When they got there, they found 30-year-old Cinquay Farrer with a gunshot wound.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives charged Jalen Bershard Alexander Thomas and a 16-year-old boy with Farrer’s murder.
Thomas was taken to the Mecklenburg’s County Sheriff’s Office and was charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder. He was also charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and inflict serious injury for his involvement in a different case.
This investigation came less than an hour after officers responded to a shooting on McAlway Road in east Charlotte.
MEDIC rushed a man to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Investigators are still trying to figure out what happened in that case.
No other information has been released.
