CHARLOTTE — Police have made two arrests in the murder of Joshua Hollingsworth, 20, Tuesday night in north Charlotte.
Officers were called just after 10:45 p.m. to the scene on Mayfield Terrace Drive, near Beatties Ford Road north of uptown, where they found Hollingsworth, who had been shot.

Hollingsworth was rushed to the hospital but did not survive, police said.
Police have arrested 24-year-old Jamal Harris and a 17-year-old boy in connection with the murder. Harris was charged with murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, while the teenager was charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
Police have not released any other details about the crime.
