ROCK HILL, S.C. — Police are looking for the person who they said shot and killed a man Friday morning in Rock Hill.
Officers responded just after 11:30 a.m. on Amelia Avenue, near Oconee Avenue, and told people to avoid the area.
Jerry Howard, 37, was taken to the hospital, where he died. No arrests have been made.
Howard's son, Jerry Howard Jr., is a star running back at Northwestern High School and is committed to playing at Georgia Tech.
