CHARLOTTE, N.C. — UPDATE: Mr. Gaddy was found safe and has been reunited with his family.
Donald Gaddy, 75, left his Charlotte home Saturday morning on Allwood Drive on foot en route to an unknown destination, police said.
Gaddy may have got onto a CATS bus. He suffers from a cognitive issue and there is concern about his safety, police said.
Gaddy was last seen wearing black, running-style pants and a long-sleeved, brown, fleece-style shirt. He may be wearing a hat. Gaddy could be walking with a cane with a blue handle.
He is black, stands 6 feet, 1 inch tall.
