TAYLORSVILLE, N.C. — Authorities in Alexander County are searching for three men who they say carjacked someone, then dragged an officer.
This happened Saturday at the Walmart off Highway 64 in Taylorsville.
The officer tried to stop the carjacking but was dragged a short distance. Fortunately he was not seriously injured. Police say they found the stolen truck after it had crashed but have not located any suspects yet. Watch channel 9 for updates.

Police said the men showed up in a black car, tried to cash checks out of Charlotte and then, stole a pickup truck from a Walmart employee who was on break.
When an officer tried to stop them, officials said they dragged the officer for some time.
The officer was not hurt, but no one has been able to find the suspects.
