PINEVILLE, N.C. — Police were investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital early Thursday morning in Pineville.
Officers were called to the Sabal Point Apartments, off Lancaster Highway, just after 4 a.m. and found one person had been shot.
Paramedics transported the victim to Carolinas Medical Center but did not say how badly that person was hurt.
The building where the man was found is at the very back of the complex and police had that area taped off.
Channel 9 also saw officers on the second floor during the investigation.
Eyewitness News spoke with the apartment security guard who said he's dealt with minor crimes in this area but nothing like a shooting.
No arrests have been made and police have not released any suspect information.
