STATESVILLE, N.C. — Police are investigating a crash where one person died and another person was shot Thursday night in Statesville.
The Record and Landmark reported that it happened around 8 p.m. on Fourth Street.
According to officials, three people were critically injured, including the person that was shot.
Channel 9 crews could see a badly damaged car that had apparently crashed into a tree, surrounded by dozens of officers.
Police have not said what led up to the crash and shooting, and no other details have been released.
