NEWTON, N.C. — New video tonight shows damage caused by a drive-by shooting at the Daybreak apartments in Newton over the weekend.
According to the Newton Police Department, as many as three rounds struck two homes on East First Street early Sunday morning.
Eyewitnesses told Channel 9 officers collected shell casings and other evidence after temporarily closing the entrance to the apartment complex.
However, no one was injured in the shooting. Police have not identified a suspect or determined a motive.
