ROCK HILL, S.C. — The Rock Hill Police Department found a 53-year-old woman dead inside a home over the weekend. The coroner said Lisa Rosenzweig’s body was found during a welfare check.
Police officers were called on Saturday to a home on Cauthen Street to check on her. A contractor who had access to the home let them inside.
That was when they found the body.
According to RHPD, investigators believe the victim “may have been assaulted.”
It’s not clear if police are looking for a suspect at this time.
The police department is working with the York County Coroner’s Office, and the death is still under investigation.
Autopsy and toxicology will be completed this week with results pending, the coroner said.
We’ll update this article when more information is available.
