No arrests made in deadly shooting in Gastonia; Police ask for public’s help

GASTONIA, N.C. — Police are asking for the public’s help to make an arrest in a deadly shooting that happened last month in Gastonia.

According to police, around 4:15 a.m. on March 28, multiple shots were fired into a home on South New Hope Road. One of the rounds went through a window, striking 62-year-old Earl Eugene Glenn. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made.

The case is under investigation and any witness or anyone with information is asked to call Detective D.L. Dover at 704-866-6871 or Crime Stoppers of Gaston County at 704-861-8000. Crime Stoppers pays cash for information that leads to an arrest.
