SHELBY, N.C. — Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed Thursday at a home in Shelby.

Officers were called to a home on Melrose Drive just after 2 p.m. and found Artist Daeshun Torrence, 19, who had been shot.
Torrence was rushed to Atrium Health Cleveland, where he was pronounced dead.
Channel 9 is asking investigators what led to the shooting.
No arrests have been made at this point.
