Police investigate 2 Charlotte pizza delivery driver robberies

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are investigating two pizza delivery driver robberies that happened Monday night.

The first happened at an apartment complex on Fernwood Drive in southeast Charlotte where three people pointed a gun at the delivery driver, took his money and then hit him several times.

Then about 20 minutes later a second robbery was reported on Selwyn Farms Lane in south Charlotte.

It is not clear if the two robberies are connected.
