Police find woman’s body inside Salisbury home; call her death ‘suspicious’

SALISBURY, N.C. — Police are investigating after a woman was found dead in her Rowan County home on Monday.

Officials said the 59-year-old woman was found inside her home on Fairmont Avenue in Salisbury. According to police, she had not been heard from for several days before officers were notified.

Salisbury Police said they are investigating this as a “suspicious death” as of now.

Authorities have not identified the woman or released how she died.
