HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Huntersville police are investigating after a person was killed in a crash just after midnight Saturday morning.
The crash happened near the intersection of NC Highway 73 and West Catawba Avenue. Police say only one car was involved. The driver was taken to the hospital where they later died.
Highway 73 was closed overnight and reopened just before 7 a.m.
The driver’s identity has not been released.
