ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — A Florida inmate who escaped from jail last week was arrested in Rowan County on Tuesday, while the two men who broke out of jail with him are still missing, according to officials.
Officials said Casey Martina and two other inmates escaped last Friday from the Wakulla County Jail, which is located just south of Tallahassee.

The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office said Martina was taken into custody at a home on Austin Street in Rockwell.
According to officials, Martina was in jail on a burglary charge.
Deputies said they believe Martina, Donald Cotterman and Joel Cooper got out through the ceiling of the jail’s law library.

Someone called 911 around 1 a.m. Tuesday, saying Martina was at a house in the county.
Officials said Martina was asleep on a couch inside and authorities found the keys to a stolen Jeep Cherokee outside in his pocket.
Deputies said they took him into custody quickly.
Officials said Martina had ammunition, but no firearm. Someone else was inside the house, but it's unclear if it was a relative and why Martina was there.
The other two escapees are still on the loose, according to investigators, who said they have been joined by detectives from the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office in the search.
Martina is being detained in the Rowan County Jail.
