CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. — A neighbor is accused of shooting two brothers Wednesday night on West Bandys Cross Road in an ongoing domestic dispute, detectives said.
Caleb and Alijah Jackson were smashing the windows of an SUV on Joshua Edward's property with a hammer before the shooting, investigators said.

The brothers also threatened to kill Edwards and harm his family, the sheriff said.
One brother was shot once and the other was shot multiple times.
The Jacksons were airlifted to Carolinas Medical Center - Main from the Sherrills Ford community in Catawba County. Officials said the brothers had serious injuries.
The Catawba County Sheriff's Office said Thursday there was no probable cause found for charged Edwards in the shooting.
