CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police seized drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine from a townhome in a high-end Ballantyne neighborhood near Ardrey Kell and Marvin Ridge roads on Friday.

Shane Ardner, 35, and Jesse Crane, 31, were taken to jail after a search warrant was executed in the 9800 block of Longstone Lane.

"One of my friends tagged me on Facebook and said, ‘Are these your neighbors?’ I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, yes,’” Erin Zopp said.

Neighbors said they have witnessed unusual activity coming from the home within the past year.

"People coming and going at all odd hours of the day and night and always stay for like five minutes or so,” Zopp said.

The lights were on inside the home on Saturday, so Channel 9 reporter Stephanie Tinoco knocked, but no one answered.

Channel 9 found out that there have been 11 calls to the police about the home in the past three months. There have been four reported incidents since 2013, including drug equipment violations, simple assault and car theft.

"They've always come back, and if they just do it again, so I really hope they stay there and they need to learn your lesson,” Zopp said.
