CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating a homicide after a man was shot to death Friday night in east Charlotte.
Police said Christopher Moore, 22, was shot outside of the Fast Mart convenience store, but was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Officers responded to the shooting on Lawyers Road around 9 p.m.

Channel 9 was at the scene and could see several officers canvassing the area looking for evidence.
Officers said they are reviewing surveillance video.
This was Charlotte's second deadly shooting within an hour. Around 8 p.m., a woman was pronounced dead and another was seriously injured after a shooting in north Charlotte.
