CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police have released the photograph of a man they’re searching for, accused of breaking into a family’s Myers Park home earlier this week while they slept.
Channel 9 was there Monday before dawn as officers investigated the home invasion on Normandy Road near Selwyn Avenue.

Investigators told Channel 9 the suspects got into the home through an unlocked window and stole several items.
Two adults and two children were inside the house at the time, police said. They were not hurt.
Police have connected Kiante McClellan and another man to the break-in. Investigators said the men drove off when a woman woke up and screamed at them.
When police arrived, the suspects led them on a chase that ended off Slatewood Road in east Charlotte.
The men ditched a black truck that was reportedly stolen from a home in Matthews the night before and ran off.
McClellan has multiple outstanding warrants for his arrest, including attempted first-degree burglary, first-degree burglary, three counts of breaking and entering a vehicle, two counts of misdemeanor larceny from vehicle, felony larceny from burglary and possession of a stolen vehicle.
If you know where he is, call police immediately.
