PAGELAND, S.C. — Chesterfield County deputies are looking for three people who they said shot and killed a man during a home invasion Sunday night.

The sheriff told Channel 9 that Darrius Robinson was shot over drugs, and that it happened in front of a 4-year-old girl.

The shooting took place around 9:40 p.m. at a home on Airport Road, near Pageland. Witnesses said a woman showed up at the house and asked to buy drugs. When Robinson said he didn't have any drugs, two masked men burst in and shot him in the chest.

All three suspects then drove off without taking anything from the home, according to the sheriff.

Deputies said the trio left in an older model gray Mercedes.

No other suspect descriptions have been released.

Authorities said the 4-year-old and Robinson's girlfriend were in the home at the time but were not hurt.
