CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Multinational makeup giant Sephora is headed to Atherton Mill.
Permits have been pulled to complete an interior upfit of nearly 3,800 square feet at the South End property. That contract comes with a nearly $550,000 cost, according to the filing.
Atherton Mill’s owner, Edens, declined to confirm Sephora is coming South End — though the project is tagged as Sephora Atherton Mills in the permit filings. Sephora also did not respond to a request for comment on Friday.
The South End property is in the midst of a $100 million-plus revamp. Columbia, South Carolina-based Edens and Charlotte-based Crescent Communities have teamed up to bring a mix of apartments, restaurants and retail offerings to the site.
