People inspired to action as protesters march through different areas in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two nights of protests in Charlotte have remained peaceful, signaling that the majority of people demonstrating are there to be heard and to listen.

Channel 9′s Joe Bruno has been out marching with protesters during much of Friday night.

Joe spoke to several people as they marched through the streets, going into different areas of town than nights before.

“They never expected us to come down here but we wanted to let them know we know how to protest peacefully. They feel comfortable in our neighborhood so we want to walk over here,” a protester said.
