CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. — Parents have gotten their say in a controversial redistricting plan and are waiting for a final decision in Cabarrus County.
The district superintendent has recommended students at Beverly Hills Elementary School in Concord be sent to two different schools, Winecoff and Royal Oaks elementary schools in Kannapolis.

The final public hearing was Monday night and a decision on redistricting is expected on Dec. 11.
